These terms apply to your use of https://optimizeaustralia.com (the “site”) and to services you buy from OPTIMIZE AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (ABN 50 636 692 423) (“Optimize Australia”, “we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Optimize Australia is an asset management and reliability engineering consultancy based in Illawarra, Australia, and led by Norm Rodgers. Contact: optimize.australia@gmail.com or +61 491 112 905.
2. Information on this site
Blog posts, product reviews, chatbot replies and AI-generated recommendations are general information only. They are not professional advice for your specific site, assets or circumstances. Get tailored advice before making engineering, safety, maintenance or financial decisions. We try to keep content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or current.
3. AI tools
The AI Reliability Recommendation form and the website chatbot use automated AI systems. Their outputs may be incomplete or wrong, and a person does not review them before you see them. Please don’t enter confidential, commercially sensitive or personal information you don’t want processed by third-party AI providers. See our Privacy Policy.
4. Services and fees
Our main service is the Reliability Diagnostic. Our current fees are shown on the Reliability Diagnostics page. At the time of writing, the onsite rate is USD 2,880 per onsite day, and the standard 10-day onsite diagnostic is typically USD 28,800.
- GST and taxes: Fees exclude GST and local taxes, which are added where applicable.
- Quotes and scope: The scope, deliverables and timing of each engagement are set out in a written quote or proposal.
- Travel and expenses: Agreed travel, accommodation and expenses for site work are charged in addition to our fees.
- Enquiries: Submitting a form or requesting a diagnostic is a request to talk, not a binding contract. An engagement begins only when you accept our written quote or proposal.
- Payment: Payment terms, including any deposit, due dates and payment methods, are as set out in the accepted written quote or proposal.
- Rescheduling and cancellation: Rescheduling and cancellation terms, including any fees, are as set out in the accepted written quote or proposal. Otherwise, either party should give reasonable written notice.
- Your responsibilities: You agree to give us accurate information, reasonable access to people, data and sites, and a safe working environment, including any site inductions we need. Our findings depend on the information and access you provide. Decisions about implementing our recommendations, and safety on your site, remain yours.
5. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that they will be provided with due care and skill. If a service fails to meet a guarantee, you may be entitled to remedies such as having the service fixed or getting a refund. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost production, lost profit or downtime costs; and
- where our services are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
We do not promise any particular result, such as a specific reduction in downtime or costs. We will, however, provide our services with due care and skill.
7. Amazon affiliate disclosure
Optimize Australia participates in the Amazon Associates program for Amazon.com.au. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Some links on this site, including those in product review posts, are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
